Abstract Art lessons with Remy Szutran, one of our artists that displays his paintings in our store. Lessons will be held weekly on Fridays commencing February 3

Remy Szutran was born in Tychy, Poland in 1978 in a middle-class Polish family.
When he was young he used to go to Community Centre where he learned painting and drawing .
When he was 13 he won competition in his town “ Old Tychy town in children’s eyes”.
He was graduated in school of Graphic Design in his twenties. Then he started to be passion-ate about music.
He began to DJ in clubs in Katowice and Cracow(Poland), and his early style was a mix of tech-house music and techno.
He moved to England in 2004, where he performed in UPFEST Festival in Bristol.
In 2013 he moved to Ireland and started to paint again as a hobbyist.
Remy is fascinated in work of Irish-born Francis Bacon and Pablo Picasso.
Borrowing inspiration from surrealism, photography, music and nature. His painting are images of human faces and figures – all in vivid colours. He uses acrylic paint in canvas.
